Loriann Fetter

Founder · Licensed Professional Counselor

Lori Fetter is a Licensed Professional Counselor with specialties in Grief & Loss and Trauma Therapy. She is recognized as a National Certified Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Lori received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and graduated with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in 2008.

Lori began her career working with people struggling with drug & alcohol addiction. In this time, she developed a strong interest in trauma and began learning about trauma work. While still with the agency, she joined a group practice after receiving licensure as a professional counselor in 2012. Lori started her own practice in the summer of 2013, where she primarily practiced trauma techniques and therapy.

In the fall of 2014, Lori left the agency to focus on her practice full time. She built a therapeutic foundation in AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) from 2014–2015, became a Certified Grief Counselor in winter 2015 through the American Institute of Health Care Professionals, and earned her Certified Clinical Trauma Professional credential in 2018. Lori often refers to trauma as a language… "if you're sitting in my chair and instantly know what I'm talking about, you're in the right place."

Lori is a versed and seasoned therapist. She helps men, women and teens through a wide range of issues — stress, anxiety, depression, marriage and couples issues, divorce, grief & loss, adjustments and transitions, parenting, sexual assault/abuse and other traumatic events — drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet clients where they are.

In addition to her clinical work, Lori supervises Master's level clinicians for professional licensure. Her practice is a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Westmoreland County, and she has been a guest on Business Talk Radio One NYC for her perspective as a business owner during the COVID-19 pandemic. She actively supports community events, local businesses, foundations, and recreational sports teams in and around Greensburg.

Office Greeter · Certified Sweetheart

Bruno is our greeter and canine therapist. He joined Loriann Fetter Counseling & Psychotherapy in spring 2022 at the young age of 8 weeks. A working dog by nature, Bruno took on the role of Office Greeter and companion to therapists and clients alike.

Bruno graduated from Puppy School in summer 2022 through Youngwood Top Dog Services and successfully completed their Advanced 1 class that fall. He accompanies therapy sessions on a weekly basis — arguably our most popular therapist — giving care by sitting with clients, laying on feet, and setting his head on laps for easy petting.

Bruno is a gentle Sheepadoodle with a sweet and loving demeanor. He continues to work on his training but can get excited when he sees his clients and meets new people. He is very good at making friends and is a great source of joy and comfort to everyone who knows him.
